Kim Gordon

Kim Gordon is best known as the frontwoman of the rock band Sonic Youth, although her creative work spans visual art, acting, writing, and fashion design. A veritable icon, Gordon has been featured on The Simpsons and the 2013 season finale of SNL. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally, with solo shows at the Benaki Museum Athens (Greece), 303 Gallery (New York), Gagosian Gallery (Los Angeles), White Columns (New York), KS ART (New York), Reena Spaulings Fine Art (New York), and Iquapop Gallery (Barcelona). Richard Prince, Olivier Zahm, Bill Powers, and Richard Phillips all include her work in their collections. Gordon currently lives and works between Northampton, MA and New York.
